Offering to Sunset Church
Thank you for your continued support of Sunset Church’s ministries to share the Gospel of Jesus throughout our city and into the world.

The Bible describes eldership as a noble task, an aspiration for Godly men who are called to become shepherds of the local church. Passages in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 make it clear that the qualifications primarily have to do with one's character; not so much their achievements or talents.
As leaders of the church, they must display Godly character in their personal and public life, for instance, they must lead their family well, be self-controlled, be above reproach, upright, humble, and gentle.
Most importantly, these men must hold firmly to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be able to teach it to others and confront those who contradict it.
If there is someone you would consider to become an elder, even if they have been nominated or have gone through the training before, please nominate them.

The women’s ministry invites women of all ages to gather together for a casual time of fellowship. Everyone has a story and we’re looking forward to coming together to connect and learn from one another over some snacks and light refreshments. Mothers are welcome to bring their children.
When: April 27 • 10:30-11:30AM
Where: 2nd Floor Conference Room
Join us as we share more about our partner, Hands at Work, and the role of the International Church in serving and advocating for the most vulnerable in Africa. We will share four different ways to get involved and support this ministry. Plus, hear about the initial plans to send a team to Zambia in the Summer of 2026.

SF Bible and Sunset Church are working to create a safe and fun space for children with special needs and their siblings. It will be an opportunity for these children to play while their parents/caregivers are provided with a bit of respite, potentially opening doors to share the love of Christ and the truth of the gospel with families.

Conflict with your spouse doesn't have to drive you apart - it can be the key to deeper intimacy. Come and learn about how conflict can fuel connection and the importance of repair. This workshop will address how to overcome blocks to communication and provide you with tools to be a better listener so that your spouse can feel seen, heard, and loved. Whether you’ve been married for 1 year or 25 years, all married couples are welcome! This workshop will be held by Kelly Pong-Der and is limited to 50 people.

Sunset’s youth hoops registration is now open. There are two summer programs offered this summer: Summer Basketball Team & Summer Basketball Clinic.
Here is an opportunity to impact the kids in our community through our Summer Sports program. Sunset Youth Hoops is officially kicking off the planning for Summer 2025 and is looking for volunteers to Coach, Assistant Coach, or serve as Spiritual Leaders for our summer basketball teams. The youth range in age from 8 to 14 (2nd/3rd through 8th grade).
Practices will be on Sundays, starting May 11- July 20.

You can assist in establishing an entertaining and captivating environment for children, enabling them to learn about the Bible and grow in their faith. Additionally, if you possess technical skills or are willing to learn, consider operating the camera for our online services. If you have any experience with music/singing, we encourage you to consider joining our worship team. Whatever your strengths or interests may be, there is a place for you on one of our teams.
